When essential toilet facilities are needed in truly hard-to-reach locations, the LooCube™ AirCube™ delivers. Purpose-built for extreme accessibility challenges, these compact, ultra-transportable toilet buildings are designed to be deployed by helicopter, light vehicle, or small barge—wherever conventional transport can’t go. Whether sling-loaded beneath a helicopter into alpine backcountry or barged to an off-grid coastal site, the AirCube™ is engineered to go where others can’t.
Its durable external sheeting stands up to New Zealand’s harshest weather conditions, while optional internal lining provides extra comfort and protection in sensitive or high-use environments. Despite its tough construction, AirCube™ prioritises user experience and safety, offering reliability in remote and environmentally sensitive zones.
The AirCube™ is ideal for permanent facilities in isolated reserves, remote research stations, conservation projects, or disaster relief operation hubs. Whether you’re setting up in Fiordland, along a tramping route, or on roadless terrain, this system delivers fully self-contained sanitation where it matters most.
Units can be fitted with stairs when required.
The AirCube™ comes with Standard Furniture package, chosen to keep weight low. These include vandal-resistant stainless steel fixtures: hand basin, push-button tap, small mirror, door closer, occupancy indicator lock, double toilet roll holder, clothes hook, etc.
A range of exterior cladding profiles and materials are available – from corrugated-style steel for a classic look to sleek flat panel systems. Options like Colorsteel or other NZ-available finishes allow you to match local building styles or council preferences.
Power for lighting/pumps available as an optional extra.
Available add-ons include water tanks and raised stands (e.g., a 500L tank for flushing or hand-washing water in off-grid scenarios), solar power kits for lighting or pump operation, alternative roof styles (such as a gable roof for aesthetic or rainwater catchment purposes), and even a service corridor option for housing treatment units or providing staff maintenance access.
