December 2021
Two custom-designed buildings were installed:
• 1 x 4 – cubicle facility (featuring the 907 & 4x Clivus Multrum™ CM10 units).
• 1 x 6 – cubicle facility (incorporating the 907+ & 6x Clivus Multrum CM10 units).
To support these high-capacity facilities:
• Two ZDU units were implemented to effectively manage leachate and prevent environmental contamination, ensuring the protection of the surrounding wetlands.
• Two 200Ah solar systems power the facilities, making them energy-efficient and self-sustaining.
• High Capacity: The Clivus Multrum™ CM10 systems are designed to handle the intensive use typical of peak holiday periods.
• Eco-Friendly Design: The ZDU system safeguards the fragile beachside ecosystem by efficiently managing wastewater.
• Sustainability: Solar-powered systems minimise environmental impact and reduce reliance on external power sources.
The Belmont Wetlands Beachside Toilets have proven to be a robust and sustainable solution, ensuring visitors have access to modern, clean, and reliable facilities while preserving the beauty of the natural environment.
Whether for high-traffic tourist destinations or remote community areas, LooCube™ delivers innovative, environmentally-conscious amenities that stand the test of time.
